About Me
I have been a massage therapist since 1999 and a fitness trainer since 2003. As an athlete, part of my business is involved in sports and rehabilitation, but it is the time I spend with my pregnant clients that is the most fulfilling, personally and professionally.
When my daughter became pregnant in 2008, I chose to expand my pregnancy massage and fitness work to include preparing expectant parents for their childbirth experience as well as working with new parents and their infants. I was honored to attend my granddaughter's birth in January 2009 and have been a primary caretaker in her life ever since. Along with bringing new joy to my life every day, she keeps me mindful of what it is like to have a little one in the house!
In the summer of 2009, I had the honor to travel to Guatemala with eight childbirth educators/nurses. There, I taught perinatal, labor support, and infant massage to nursing students and midwives. As with the birth of my granddaughter, it was a magical time for me and solidified my commitment to "massage, fitness, and support in the childbearing year."
For more information on any of my offerings, please call or email--it will be my pleasure!
