From my work as a pregnancy massage therapist has grown a deep respect and commitment to all that happens during the childbearing year--to mom, baby, partner, family. As natural and normal an event childbirth is, it is also life changing. It helps to be prepared!

I offer private sessions, beginning anytime in the first trimester and continuing through your pregnancy, as a series we create together. I also offer small group classes throughout the year. A sampling of potential topics include:

Physiology of pregnancy--What's going on inside?
Your changing family--Roles, relationships, rhythms
Support--Before, during, after the big day
Birth options--Priorities, plans, preferences, problems
Labor & delivery--Relaxation & comfort techniques
Pain medications, medical interventions--Help or hindrance?
Parenthood--Whoa!!

Your baby may be just a few hours old, but already this tiny being has so much to share! But what exactly is your precious bundle trying to tell you?

H.U.G. Your Baby, a multi-award-winning program developed by a local family nurse practitioner, is a wonderful way to help parents recognize and understand their baby's body language. Understanding how your baby communicates his or her needs--even as a newborn--can guarantee happier, more successful feeding, sleeping, playing, and bonding experiences for everyone, right from the start.

By the end of the hour-long session--which I bring to you, in the comfort of your home, with your baby--you'll realize how smart your infant already is and how competent you already are as a brand new parent.

The "HUG"--offering help, understanding, guidance--believes that confident, knowledgeable, caring parents raise capable, happy children. So do I!

RATES:
If you have at least paid 6 pregnancy massages with me throughout your pregnancy, I include a complimentary HUG session during the first 3 weeks of your postpartum recovery.
******Regular fee for this program is $40 for a 1+-hour session. All your newborn's caregivers are welcome to attend.
******If you'd like other families with babies to join you, the fee is $15/family.
